Junior Associate

Join our awesome team! Kornblum Law Professional Corporation, a Toronto-based employment law firm, is seeking a Junior Associate for a permanent full-time position starting summer 2020.

Qualifications:

• Law degree
• Membership with LSUC
• 1-3 years practicing employment, labour, human rights, and/or personal injury law (Articling experience in these areas will also be considered)

Kornblum Law is a boutique labour/employment law firm in Toronto. The firm was founded by Ryan Kornblum, a Western Law graduate and highly respected employment lawyer.

Our areas of focus include employment law, human rights law, litigation, and disability law. We represent employees in the Greater Toronto Area, throughout Ontario and across Canada. We offer a friendly work environment. As a Kornblum Law Junior Associate you will handle files independently, and with the assistance of firm's other staff members, to complete Statement of Claims/Defences, examination for discoveries, mediation, and trials/tribunal hearings in our fast-paced, Toronto law firm, and you will be a valued member of our team.

We are looking for a candidate with between 1-3 years of experience in litigation, who has carried files independently (not a requirement, but is an asset) and has the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday.

Compensation:

This position provides a competitive salary and motivating bonus structure.
